Coaching and training for Public Speakers

Confident Presentations

Would you like to be able to speak with confidence? Are you ambitious about making winning presentations? Would you like to be able to speak from the heart with passion and authority?

Coaching for Speakers

I can help you find your true voice by connecting feelings to words to make memorable and meaningful presentations.   Practical training techniques – used by actors in performance- will enable you to lift your words off the page and into the hearts and minds of the audience. Your coaching sessions are like professional rehearsals and will help you prepare ahead of your speaking deadline. You will:

  • Unearth the hidden gems that lie within you. With your personal director you will gain the confidence to trust your own voice
  • Be comfortable and strong in your body by exploring the physicality of speaking
  • Breathe for strength, confidence and flexibility
  • Control the stress and let it go
  • Connect with the authentic you
  • Turn those nerves around and be confident!

Work with me and let me help you see, feel and hear the benefits in your speeches and presentations, as our clients at Aegon, Scottish Gas, St George’s School,  Lochrin Bain, the Faculty of Advocates,  Media and Broadcasting services, SIAS transport planning, Hanover Housing, Rein4ce, as well as individuals including QCs, celebrity chefs and business owners have done.

Martha’s approach is person-centred. She considers all the key areas you need…emotional, physical, intellectual and technical areas relevant to public speaking and presenting. High praise is not something I give lightly but in Martha’s case is it very well earned

Presentation Skills Coaching for Students and first time applicants

Are you are an anxious parent, concerned about how your talented but mumbling son or daughter will come across at interview? Are you looking for opportunities that will  support them, help their confidence and give them techniques that will serve them for current and future interviews? Please get in touch.  I have a wide range of experience working with young people.  They may be new to market job applicants or students contemplating their first steps towards the world of work.

In this day and age where people communicate with emojis rather that the spoken word, I as a worried parent, reached out to Martha to see if she could help my teenager who on paper is brilliant but has great difficulty in conversing that across. She has worked with them patiently and they now feel more confident in their own ability when faced with having to do a debate or public speaking.  With University interviews looming (fingers crossed!), Martha will be our  ‘go-to’ in prepping them to ensure they do themselves justice
